1. What does "personal information" or "private information" mean when we are talking about apps, social media, and going online? Information that only you, your family, and maybe a few real-life friends/teachers should know. Never share your age, address, name of your school, phone number, birthday, passwords or full name online.
2. What kinds of things are okay to share about yourself online? What kinds of things are never okay to share about yourself online? You can share about things you like or know a lot about. For example, if you love puppies, it's okay to talk about puppies. If you are sharing names of pets, make sure pet names aren't in your passwords. Never share your age, address, name of your school, phone number, birthday, passwords or full name online. 3. What should you do if an online friend asks you personal information about yourself? Don't! Never share personal information with online friends. Get help from your parent or guardian right way if an online friend asks you for information. Even though you may enjoy gaming with them, there is no way to know who the person behind the screen really is.
